On December 4th I took the girls to The Nutcracker at The Edmonds Center for the Arts. It was a smaller production of the much loved ballet, but it was perfectly geared towards the younger more miniature crowd. During intermission they explained everything and showed how the ballerinas could go up onto their toes, what controlled the lights, and how everyone who was apart of the production was a valuable member to make it a success.
We met up with a few of our friends and Payton was very excited to share seats with them! Gracie sat on my lap during the show and we made it over half way until she got a bit antsy and needed to stretch her legs.

Gracie and MaddieWe had a wonderful time at the Nutcracker. I'm hoping to make this a tradition for the girls every year. I know it's something they will always enjoy!
